Ballet Hawaii

Ballet Hawaii’s purpose is to establish, execute, and promote dance in Hawaii. By educating, creating, presenting, and promoting dance, Ballet Hawaii increases Hawaii’s culture. It is explicitly designed to boost self-esteem by reaching aims. Performing high-quality dances offer the community a lasting gift. On top of this, Ballet Hawaii offers an intensive summer session and presents year-round instruction at the Honolulu and Waipahu. Teachers are brought in from all over the globe. Ballet Hawaii has staged full-length Sleeping Beauty and Romeo and Juliet. They also showcased Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and Alice, as well as The Nutcracker. Urashima Tero, Peter Espiritu of Tau Dance Theatre and other commissioned works have been performed. Hawaii’s greatest young dancers perform with the likes of American Ballet Theatre and Bolshoi Ballet. They’ve also performed with Carolina Ballets, Eugene Ballets, Cincinnati Ballets, Eugene Ballets, Bolshoi Ballets, etc. Past and current guest artists include Robbie Fairchild from Broadway’s American In Paris and Sara Mearns, Steven Heathcote, Australian Ballet, and Megan Fairchild from Broadway’s On the Town, New York City Ballet, and Bolshoi Ballet.
