The Dance Company Indy (The DC) is Indianapolis's premier dance institution. We are dedicated to offering high-quality dance instruction meticulously designed to enhance the development of each child. Our scholastic successes are attributed to our founding in 1976. We uphold our promise to excellence by providing personalized, passionate instruction in a supportive, secure setting. The DC occupies an expansive space on the southern edge of Indianapolis with four dance studios featuring seven distinct styles of dance. Our curriculum is tailored to fit their demands, catering to kids from 2.5 to 18 years old. Children can express themselves through movement. Dance classes improve coordination, cognitive growth, and muscle awareness. It is extremely important for children to improve their self-esteem and view themselves positively, becoming more conscious of their bodies and acquiring abilities that will help them sustain themselves in the future. The Dance Company teachers are committed and selfless in assuming their responsibility as leaders in your child's life. All staff members are held to the most stringent educational standards. All staff members are required to be lifelong learners and remain dedicated to their education. Staff are committed to their certification programs, attending teacher training schools, conferences, and any other opportunities to further their education.
