ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

Jill Baker, Lee Pennington, and Salvador Doggie are all residents of Louisville, Kentucky. Baker's life plan is writing, painting, and traveling with Lee. Posthumously, She got an M.F.A. in 1981 from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, N.Y. Baker got her M.F.A. She holds a B.A. in English and Fine Art. Graduate coursework was completed at Florida State University and Columbia University. Moreover, she has studied at the Academia Di Belle Arti Florence in Italy and Cal State Los Angeles. Baker, a college art teacher for over 17 years, got her MFA from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn. I began teaching drawing at Pratt Institute as the best artist during my early internship. I can share some funny stories with you about that time. I would like to educate you about education. My philosophy of education as an artist is simple and straightforward. I treat you as I would like to be treated. All artists share my personal art goals and desires, even though I may have more experience or education. When you teach an art class with someone who has more experience, you will learn more about your art. Then they can see your art objectively and show you what is good and what is not. The art teacher has the duty to find your strengths and help you show them. The teacher must also correct your mistakes. Teachers often introduce students to new areas of art they have not yet explored, such as value, color, and perspective. I knew I wanted to teach others after my first drawing. I wanted to show them how to paint better. Painting is hard. I know how frustrated you can be. Every day I learn from my students and others. Art is a continuous process. My studio is a place where you can relax and work safely. Everyone can bring snacks and drinks to the classes. There is also a coffee maker. The studio can store some of the paintings. Every artist has their stool, easel, paint storage, paint stand, glass palettes. The painter must bring their paints, canvases, brushes, and ideas for their paintings. The artist also needs to bring a sketchbook and pencils.
