Artoujours - Oana Lauric artist studio

Lauric’s paintings are a singular amalgam of her artistic quest and her personal and professional journey. Oana Lauric hails from the United States but is of Romanian descent and lived in France for 10 years, where she studied architecture and painted in Paris. She has a French Architect Degree and a Romanian Fine Arts Baccalaureate. After years as an architect in both the US and France, she started painting professionally in 2001. Today, her art studio, Artoujours - Oana Lauric artist studio in Boston, USA'sFenway Studios, is open for visits. My paintings attempt to determine how the surroundings influence our mind. Essentially, the environment created shapes our actions. My artwork is a quest, exploring space and time and interacting with the constantly evolving viewpoint we inhabit. I want the viewer to feel the power of the surroundings through the use of natural and artificial light, shadow, chromatic intensity, depth, rhythm, and texture.
