The Gavin Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency, provides some of Boston's most comprehensive community, adult, and youth substance abuse prevention, education, and treatment programs. For more than 50 years, we have served over 10,000 people from Massachusetts every year.
Concepts
Peer-to-peer guidance and encouragement are available for individuals 18+ in recovery from addiction. Persons in recovery, individuals supporting recovery, and service providers are encouraged to contact the center. It is open to anyone in the Boston area and is free. Recovery is a peer-driven program. Members plan and produce all activities and events. Members have the opportunity to plan and make their voice heard at monthly community meetings. All are encouraged to share their wisdom, experiences, and hopes.
