About this business
Allison McElfresh, Co-Owner and Artistic Director of The Dance Coalition, is certified by the Ohio Board of Education for NFHS, National Dance Risk Management, and National Dance Council of America. Her other certifications include ACE, DEA, and membership in the American College Dance Association. Her philosophy lives in the wellness of dance technique/choreography, self potentials, and increasing the longevity of the dancer's art form. In AZ and CA, she impresses students with the scientific dexterity of certified technical training in classical dance forms, contemporary dynamics and the American Ballet Theater Curriculum. Using her BS of Secondary education from GCU and AA from the University of Cincinnati, and a diploma from the School for the Performing Arts and CCM, she helps facilitate programs. In collaboration with Monica Chaney in 2016, she created The Dance Coalition, a game-changing dance company. Allison is a dance teacher who teaches all levels, from recreational and competitive dancers to undergraduates and graduates. She also leads/consults the first Teacher Training Dance Program in Cincinnati and speaks at outreach programs in the tristate area to help build brilliant dancers using The Dance Coalition Methods.
