DANCEFIX, a dance fitness class for adults, features Heather's original choreography and that of HBDC instructors. The choreography, which includes hip-hop, jazz, Latin, and lyrical dances, is fun and fresh for newcomers and experienced dancers alike. The hour-long classes consist of 10 increasing cardio dances, a warmup, and a tone session. Students learn new dance choreography each week while working on nine other dances. DANCEFIX's mission is to promote health and happiness through dancing, as well as a connection with self and others. DANCEFIX dancers are often involved in flash mobs and other events that support cultural, social, and arts causes. JAM Dance Academy offers a wide range of classes to suit your needs. Whether it's to learn a new skill or to brush up on old dance moves. Our specialty is teaching people HOW TO dance. Our dancers are encouraged to take part in Master Classes and Summer Intensives, as well as audition for other performance opportunities. JAM hosts master classes with the best dancers in the region, across all styles of dance, so that our students can receive the most complete training. Our classes combine Russian and Balanchine Ballet techniques, with a focus on core strength and injury prevention. In our choreography, we incorporate Fosse, Taylor, and Tharp styles, as well as Broadway. These are all the elements that make up a dancer who is well-versed.
