Regards Sharon Breitigan3. We contacted Taren Cabelka about our child who was the victim of medical malpractice at OU children’s hospital. She had a lymph node biopsy to determine whether or not she had lymphoma. The surgeon removed the wrong type of tissue, didn’t run the proper tests, never signed the report and never got in touch with her results. She had to have the procedure done again out of state. Taren said she wanted to take the case and asked for all documentation. Then one day we didn’t hear from her. No response to emails or phone calls. No explanation for no movement forward. Too much time has passed and we cannot do anything at this point. This doctor could have done this to another child. Taren told me she wanted to help because as a mother she couldn’t imagine this happening to her child. I guess that wasn’t true.
