Client Reviews: 1. Zero stars if I could. Willson was my attorney for several months, and his communication was always dismissive and negative. Many of his emails were one to two sentences long, poorly written, incoherent, and unprofessional. He often copied and pasted sentences from previous emails and misspelled words like "your" as "you're," and used poor grammar. His emails never included professional legal advice or counsel. After a substantial number of short emails, I was both more confused and had an increased bill. Mr. Willson's conduct makes it clear that he never intended to represent me as agreed. He was more interested in settling the case quickly rather than actually representing me in a way that required effort. When I raised concerns about his failure to take action or at least update me on what was happening, he was hostile and defensive. Eventually, he emailed me telling me that I should hire someone else that can give my case more time. I agreed to release him, but his law firm sent me a statement that included outrageous charges that added thousands to my bill. Mr. Willson charged me for hours of work that he simply never performed, and then added nine hours for email communication, in which all new inquiries were backdated. After I got a new attorney, Mr. Willson would not cooperate and ignored my new attorney despite multiple attempted communications. This experience was not just disappointing, but it was harmful. Legal representation is based on trust, communication, and integrity, and all three were missing. Instead of receiving an advocate, I received neglect, hostility, and billing practices that raised ethical and professionalism concerns. I am voicing my concerns because situations like these do not only affect one client, they affect families, children, and people who are going through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. People should not walk away from legal representation feeling ignored, misguided, and financially exploited. A person should not have to fight their legal battle while fighting the attorney they trust to stand with them. I hope by sharing this86 this will protect other families in the future.2.
