17th Street Studios LLC would be the name of Elaine Bitting's home and studio, where classes are held on the third floor of her 1910 Victorian house. This drawing and painting studio is 850 square foot, well equipped, with a lot of natural lighting. The Instructor My goal is to empower you with the skills essential to accomplish your vision. I will highlight that, with the right training, I believe anyone can draw and paint. While certain people will have more facility with it than others, it is a skill that can be learned with practice. The basic skills start with learning the visual language by understanding the elements and principles. Then, the art (i.e., controlling the materials and techniques used for drawing and painting) must be mastered. These fundamental abilities are the building blocks for creating successful paintings.
