In Beatriz Mayorca's art & design studio, she dreams, designs, and exhibits unique contemporary art, functional art, and creatives. Her design signature is natural features, modern elegance, and simplicity through clean lines. Mayorca hails from Venezuela and has resided in the United States since 2005. She has a degree in social communication from the Central University of Venezuela. As an artist and interior designer with a passion for arts, she pursued a Bachelor's of Fine Arts at the University of Central Oklahoma. She specializes in different artistic forms, such as lighting and furniture design and sculptures. However, public art allows her to interact with a wide audience. She hails from the Caribbean coast, Andes Mountains, and the Amazon rainforest. Her European art exposure resulted in using materials like concrete, wood, and metal. Being an international Hispanic artist helped her gain a different perspective. Beatriz's work does not dwell on Venezuelan cultural elements because she is no longer home. Once considered a mestiza artist, she came to terms with her mestizo heritage while working in the international arena.
