Established in Memphis, TN, We Rock the Spectrum allows kids with different abilities to play. Our gym is unique in Memphis because our goal is to foster inclusion. Our sensory equipment is custom-built for children with sensory processing disorders, but we have noticed that every kid can gain from it. Children from all backgrounds are encouraged to play and learn from one another, driving them to work hard and succeed at every level. Our gymnastics program benefits from a mix of volunteers and staff who assist us in reaching our goal: pushing kids with special needs to advance more than doctors or therapists would expect. In many cases, the child attends gymnastics with a therapist present; the therapist can help the child and evaluate their peers all while the kid has access to all the equipment and receives staff support.
