At Wimbleton Gymnastics, a family-owned gym, our goal is to create a safe, loving environment for children to enjoy gymnastics. We also help girls and boys learn and grow in the sport and, more importantly, acquire the life skills that will make them successful. The Girl's Pre Team
Ninety Minutes
This is a two-class course that runs for one and a half hours. The course targets girls who have some gymnastic ability or have a great desire to start gymnastic. The course follows correct skill progression that ensures young gymnasts master the simple gymnastics elements of vault, bars, beam, floor, and beam. The young athletes also work on their flexibility and presentation skills through USA Gymnastics' compulsory conditioning programs.
The Girl's USA Gymnastics Compulsory Program
Two Forty-five-Minute Classes
The gymnastics compulsory program for girls follows the USA Gymnastics protocols. The routines are already set and follow already set rules set by the gymnastic federation. Children will be enrolled in a group of 4-6 per instructor. The program emphasizes the need to have a technical proficiency, strength, and flexibility before a performer moves to a higher level. The program also allows for modification of routines to suit an athlete's needs.
