CCB is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit tax-exempt dance school that teaches its students more than just ballet. We foster self-confidence, teach perseverance, help you develop compassion, and instill discipline. The ultimate ballet experience is now available at Capital City Ballet. With a curriculum of expert technical training and a rigorous approach to artistry, our mission is to balance our competitive aspirations with the philosophy that ballet should be practiced in a nurturing and supportive environment. As long as you have a strong desire to dance, support your fellow students, and aspire to become an artist and an athlete, Capital City Ballet will be your home. Levels: Introduction to dance, young children Designed. This class is a gentle and fun introduction to the elements of music and dance for the youngest ballet students. The teacher uses images and stories to teach the basic ballet steps, starting with the five positions. The children develop hand-eye coordination, rhythm, and creativity and also learn ballet etiquette and classroom behavior.
