Colette found her way into the dance world with ballet during her early childhood at a local dance studio. Since her first ballet class, her dance training has evolved and now includes a range of styles, with her focus being on Contemporary Techniques and Dance Theater. She has a B.An. in Theater Arts with emphasis in Dance, which she earned in 2013. This degree won her an Evert B. Person Dance Scholarship when she was in college. Colette began her freelance career in the San Francisco Bay Area after graduating from college. When Colette was teaching at Tutu School as a freelancer, she also began to develop passion for teaching, especially when working with kids, and she became passionate about encouraging them to express themselves through dance. After a long cross-country move, Colette is excited to bring the Tutu School to Austin. Every Tutu school class since the first one in 2008. I have seen Tutu School as a professional dancer. I heard about a small boutique-style ballet school that taught kids in a fun and creative way. The school would also encourage kids to use their imaginations, as well as the physical abilities they possess. I am pleased to announce that every Tutu School is independently operated by specially selected owners with a vision. They have great teachers, a well-thought-out curriculum, and they all value their local child customers. As much as I imagined Tutu, we never forget the importance of introducing young children to ballet's beauty and magic. This love will remain central to every independent Tutu School.

The general consensus consist of people believing the instructor, Collette did an amazing job. Her classes are structured in such a way that they are engaging and interactive. She uses props and creative activities, making the learning fun. The classes help kids get familiar with ballet technique through stories, pictures, and vocabulary, and kids love practicing techniques at home. Most parents are happy and feel that their children are actually learning to love ballet, with some considering making it a weekly routine. The classes are perfect for kids who are new to ballet, and kids await the next class; indicating that they are very interesting. The soft spoken and patient instructor creates a great experience for kids because the school is beautiful. Kids enjoy such classes, and we have Like the place and cannot wait for the next lessons.
