I’m currently going through a divorce and I have a disabled son the father is refusing to pay the child support and all I keep getting is the run around and I’ve paid him $6,000.00 already the child support was supposed to start since November 1st but there always seems to be an excuse and the issue hasn’t gotten resolved‼‼‼ It’s been over a year and still no divorce….this whole situation has caused me nothing but stress and yet when I hired Richard R. Alamia I was led to believe he would help me every step of the way and would speak for me, but during mediation all he did was sit back in his office chair with his arms crossed and allow the mediator to belittle me and he had no one in the office to help him instead my daughter had to get up and try to figure out how to print out the documents so that I could sign them and leave but the "kicker" is that the mediator told Mr. Alamia to tell me to go drop off the printed documents to the opposing attorney that his office was just around the corner and I was like what?‼‼‼‼ That’s not my job I’m going home it’s late. It’s mid-month and still no child support‼‼ I honestly wouldn’t recommend him to represent you in divorce, this is my personal opinion from my experience, it’s been almost 5 months and still no child support for my disabled son‼‼‼‼‼‼ 8/22/24 It will be a year on October 18, 2024 that I went into his office for mediation and almost almost a year later the mediation documents have not been signed by the judge, because the opposing attorney never signed the documents this is what was explained to me he just signed them. I feel like somewhere along the way someone dropped the ball!!!! Now I’m still waiting for the judge to sign the mediation documents‼... Get's the job done! Great to work with and affordable!
