Welcome to the University of Texas at El Paso College of Health Sciences and School of Nursing Building. Our college welcomes you. We embrace UTEP’s Mission of Access, Excellence, and Impact. We teach and mentor the next generation of heath and human services professionals. They will enhance the quality of life, health disparities, deliver exceptional healthcare to the served communities with compassion and competence, and respond to social determinants of health. Our initiatives impact global and local communities by addressing the health challenges. UTEP is a high research activity (R1) and a community-engaged university, recognized by the Carnegie Foundation. The College of Health Sciences is a transnational and interdisciplinary research institution that teaches relevant courses and community service projects. We focus this effort on our global and local communities' health problems.
