MBA Program and UTA Fort Worth The UTA Fort Worth MBA program was founded in 2000. It introduced the cohort model, which has been integral UTA Fort Worth since its inception. Our first classes were held at the UTA Research Institute in East Fort Worth. We then moved to our downtown home. The historic Santa Fe Freight Depot and Fort Worth Rail Market, built in 1938, was the right mix of modern and historical. We opened our doors to the public in 2007. The spacious, sustainable 2,500-square-foot facility is dedicated to teaching and conserving the environment for future generations. It is located just steps away from public transportation and offers a recycling center that provides full-service recycling for students, employees, and faculty. Visit us to learn more about our educational and historical offerings. We will show you around the historic buildings and introduce you to the students, staff, and support personnel. Due to our close ties with neighbors, such as the Fort Worth Hospital District, Lockheed Martin, BNSF Railroad, and Bell Helicopter Textron Inc., UTA Fort Worth is at the heart of innovation and future business transformation. We will continue our goal to serve students and industry leaders and offer new and bold programs as well as prescriptive and professional development activities. This will attract talent and economic progress to the community.
