E D Huntington Orchids and Tropicals started when we fell in love with orchids while living in Santa Barbara California. Our journey began when we stumbled upon orchids at the Santa Barbara Farmer's Market and purchased a few cool-growing orchids while living in California. When we moved back to San Antonio, Texas, we encountered the exotic, warm-growing orchids. Over time, and because of our fascination with the variety and natural beauty of orchids in general, our collection grew substantially, primarily the Vandaceous components. In the end, we acquired a functioning orchid greenhouse and converted it to ours.

The exotic plant shop is a must-visit, characterized by high-quality plants, especially orchids and an enthusiastic and knowledgeable owner Liz. The store is brimming with different tropical plants and orchids, that are healthy, rare, and hard to get. Patrons believe that the nursery offers expert advice and in-depth information about their plants. Many clients were excited to have found the store, and Liz was warm and accommodating, assuring they would be happy to return again. This can be a fun and enjoyable learning experience, although the nursery is a perfect place to buy unusual plants. The store has friendly and social distancing policies that ensure the customers' safety. The tropical plant and orchid store is fantastic and appealing to many!
