Located in South San Antonio, A&M-SA was the first upper-division university in the area when it opened in 2009. Since then, it has grown in enrollment by 196 percent. Enrollment exceeded 7,500 students, and graduation numbers surpassed 15,000. The student body is 77% Hispanic, 64% female, and around 72 percent first-generation college students. A&M-SA provides 29 bachelor's and 14 master's degrees in high-growth areas like cybersecurity, biology, business, criminal justice, education, and more.
