She truly fights for what’s right & guides you towards the right direction. She’s been there any time I have needed her during my case. It means a lot when your lawyer takes the time that she does with a case. She will be my go to for anything I may need in the future. I endorse her wholeheartedly. 2. Got my answers that I need 3. The worst lawyer I've ever seen!!! 4. My experience with Kelly was not positive in any way. I met her first time the day of my hearing and had news that my ex who filed the motions was recently arrested. Rather than figure out why and save things from having to go any further Kelly just kind of shrugged it off and proceeded to play the court game. As a single mother of five I don’t have money to play these kinds of games and did not like her telling me where I have done things wrong in having to move to try to support myself and the kids over the last couple of years. When you hire somebody and pay them hundreds of dollars an hour you expect them to have your best interest in mind, and I did not feel that Kelly did. At all. I felt I needed to defend myself to her as much as anyone. 5. I needed to file for divorce and had no clue how the process works. I was very nervous and anxious, especially being a man with young children. I did some research locally and came across her. After the first meeting, I knew she would be great to represent me. She listened to everything I said and was very compassionate and professional to my unfortunate situation. My ex-wife and I had already agreed upon everything beforehand luckily (split custody, asset disputes, etc.). She wrote a separation agreement for us, and then after a few other forms that needed signed by both of us, filed the divorce on my behalf. Meghan was also super helpful. She was my primary contact person throughout the process. She was nice and knowledgeable. She made this sad and unknown period in my life as easy and supporting to me as possible. She is an incredible asset to the law office. The whole process for me took just under 3 months from first visit to finalized divorce and I never once had to go to a court room. I would highly recommend to anyone going through a divorce. 6. Kelly is an outstanding attorney. She is a person of integrity and is capable, intelligent, and fair. In my experience, she comes off from a position of collaboration and resolution. I valued her so much when I was getting a divorce. She explains the law and gives you the facts and then gives you room to decide. I recommend her and her services for sure! 7. Our experience with Kelly Ashby has been extremely positive. She has been insightful, communicative, helpful, and professional to my family for over a decade. We highly recommend her. 8. Very quick to point the finger at the client to tell them what they are doing wrong when the client has no idea what to do. You hire an attorney for them to help navigate you through a process that they don’t want to be in and also don’t know the best way to proceed. She did return the full retainer but mainly because she didn’t do anything.
