Client Testimonials for Beresford Booth Lawyers: 1. Kudos to Babak Shamsi and Todd Cook. They are experts in real estate and handled my case with unbridled professionalism. Their game plan was exhaustive and they briefed me through the entire process. They did a step by step breakdown of the process and solved all the hurdles with ease. The patient explanation and the expertise left me impressed. Kudos. – I would work with them again. 2. Communication was poor. Decisions were made in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 without ever telling me what was going on. Following court, a resolution for payment was required within 90 days. These lawyers wasted such time and caused me over $30,000 more because of the blatant mistakes. They did not trace the funds and allowed the other party to slander me without objecting. They were very one-sided and I lost my house because of them. Horrible representation! 3. Kudos to Michael. He helped me through my business sale. He was thorough and was on top of things thus making the process seamless. He was very clear on the discovery process and he managed the mercurial outburst of the other party thoroughly. The proceedings were smooth all thanks to him. 4. Many thanks to Beresford Booth and Babak Shamsi for the job well done for my small business. I was impressed with the timely responses and the very comprehensive work undertaken. Their communication was on point. The work required specialization in commercial real estate and the swiftness in which it was done was superb. The outcome was better than expected and it was all thanks to the effort of our legal team. Kudos! 5. Former client and fellow firm owner here: A big thank you to Michael Kvistad and Bill Kessler. Michael advised my family's rental business in 2014 and Bill has been very resourceful to me when I need referrals especially in big litigations that my firm cannot cover. Thanks, both and I look forward to our continued partnership. 6. I’m not going to name people because the place is not big enough that the people in charge can say they didn’t know what was going on below them. As far as I’m concerned, the issue is company wide. We had hired them for an adoption. Things were fine for a while. But they were always pretty bad about communication. They would regularly say “we’ll do it next week” only for the next week to come and go with no update. Then on top of that they would ignore calls and emails for several days before finally responding, usually to say, again, they’d do it next week. When we finally tried to ask them to clarify their expectation on communication, they told us the attorney “couldn’t handle a full case load due to medical reasons and had to withdraw.” Sure. They offered a partial refund, but then proceeded to send us another bill. When I called to ask about the bill, the receptionist told me the attorney was in a consultation with new clients. So that confirmed what we already suspected, that the excuse regrading medical issues and full case loads was bull. Not only that, the thing we had been trying to contact them about had actually been done. So it wasn’t even a matter of “we’ll do it next week” it was a matter of “we did it and deliberately chose not to tell you.” Bad lawyers. Bad people. Don’t recommend. They did eventually give us the partial refund, but we basically had to start over with new attorneys, so it was money and time wasted. 7. As a small business owner I wanted to establish a relationship with an attorney to have in my back pocket in case anything were to arise. While I don’t need one now, the firm and specifically, Zach, was open to me coming in for an hour consultation. The firm was “too busy” to spare anyone from the herd for 15 to 30min to help me review some potential upcoming issues- so that was a big miss for me. They did not value or respect me and I look elsewhere now...wasn’t looking for a handout and would have paid just like the following year when I needed to speak with him to review some potential upcoming issues. 8. Kelsey Winkhurt and Babak Shamsi were lifesavers when I had several unexpected life events come at me at once, including separation and a lawsuit from a contractor all at the same time. They were just wonderful in the way they walked me through my options with a clear, easy-to-understand plan. They achieved the best outcomes on all fronts. I was so grateful to have such great advice through my MetLife LegalPlan. I did learn that Beresford is no longer participating with MetLife and that is a big loss for all of us. I ended up being able to keep everything because of them and all parties were left feeling like the outcome was fair. 9. I sought Babak Shamsi and Nick Gross at Beresford Booth to help with a real estate dispute that required legal help. I was very pleased with the experience. I found them to be quite comprehensive in their analysis. They also provided practical, clear, and timely recommendations. They were up front about what to expect with fees. I felt there was good value being provided. They were fair and reasonable all the way through and they ultimately helped us reach a positive settlement without the need for litigation. I'd highly recommend them based on this experience. 10. As a small business owner, I have engaged Dexter Bradford's team for multiple years on various needs surrounding employment and business law. I’ve appreciated his approach and willingness to listen. He clarifies my needs so that I understand the process thoroughly, thus, I will be seeking to retain Mr. Bradford for future needs in this domain. 11. As a client of Beresford Booth for a long time, starting from Estate Planning services, recently, Dexter Bradford skillfully negotiated a favorable settlement in a very complex insurance matter. Dexter and his team consistently navigated the litigation within budget and timing constraints as agreed, kept me informed throughout the process. They secured a very favorable settlement before trial or any other expensive dispute resolution. I am grateful to have Dexter and the Beresford Booth team on my side. Highly recommended for legal services and representation. 12. Caleb Tingstad represented me in an extremely complex business divestment. I was calm and steady throughout. He made the negotiations provide me with maximum benefit. His guidance and support were professional and I am grateful. I will be referring Caleb and his firm to all my friends. 13. Amanda Gamble was amazing in securing adding Post Secondary Support and adjusting Child Support. While legal issues are almost always difficult and stressful, Amanda was incredibly calming. She took the time we needed to answer all our questions and ensure our point of view was being presented in a respectful way. One thing that really impressed me was Amanda's excellent writing. In the current legal world, your written arguments are often more important than the ones you present in court. Amanda's briefs were concise and her writing was both powerful and referenced case law which sets a precedence. After reading every brief she wrote, It was always a relaxing experience for me knowing we had an airtight argument. To illustrate this point, I had an issue where my children's GET accounts that were awarded to me in my divorce decree were claimed as a gift to my children. Amanda was able to find 2 case law examples that proved the commissioner was in error. The other thing is that Amanda was able to ensure that my ex-husband's crypto earnings were included in the Child Support calculation. Beyond writing, she also delivered excellent oral arguments. Amanda is articulate and confident. She is one of the most persuasive communicators I've come across. Her communication was brilliant, and she never missed a call. I was drawn by Amanda's determination and strong sense of justice. It was clear from the beginning that she was not going to stop until she got a ruling that was fair and equitable. My case was complex, and we had to do several appeals but, in the end, the perseverance paid off. Throughout the process, Amanda and her team answered every question I had, engaged me in potential options, and acted with urgency. In conclusion, Amanda is the best lawyer I've worked with! I highly recommend her and Beresford Booth for anyone looking for amazing services. I have also interacted with Amanda's paralegal, Debbie Metzger and they are truly a good team. 14. Babak Shamsi represented me in my real estate issue. His expertise in dispute resolution is commendable. His team was very professional in handling such a complex issue. He had a very clear way of explaining things and his timeliness was spot on. He showed me the light at the end of the tunnel and guided me through the entire process. The resolution was beyond the need for escalation. 5-star. 15. Thank you to Babak and his team! Our lawsuit was resolved without going to trial, and everything turned out the way we had hoped. Babak and his team were very professional throughout the process. They gave us clear timelines. Through all this process, they showed understanding, patience, and a human touch. Thank you so much, Babak, and your team.
