The attorneys represent men exclusively. Mr. Stookey, Matt Stookey, and Nancy Hull represented my husband. I asked Mr. Stookey to represent me. I did not like the representation provided to me by Matthews Stookey and Nancy Hull. The only thing that they did was to have my husband served with divorce papers. Anytime I asked any questions or suggested something Mr..Stookey would always tell me his opinion as to why he did not think my husband would do that or had to do that. At the end of the day I felt he was more in favor of my husband’s interests. It appeared as if he didn’t represent me at all, professional, there was no being polite and he was quite unprofessional. This led me to think he is a misogynist. The whole time I did everything that was needed and guided as directed by my attorney. At the end of our contract, he turned his back on everything and mostly what he advised me to do. I have no experience with attorneys but I think this was the worst. I hope and pray that he has not and will never represent any other woman. Remember even the name on the office says Divorce attorneys for men. I highly recommend you find representation elsewhere! 4. Ineffective counsel. We got rebuked by the judge in the courtroom because our inappropriate court date scheduling. The lawyer (claiming to be from another County) apologized. Poor communication. Days before the scheduled settlement hearing I went to the office and couldn't find any of the attorneys. After the hearing, I was told that all attorneys were involved in personal problems. They finally dropped my case 6 weeks before the court date, and a new firm I contacted showed a great difference in handling of the case. The high turnover was every month till the firm dropped or failed all clients 5. Epic screw-over. Do not trust them. Client Review was not ever modified. 6. Excellent customer service from Brandon, Matt, and Korey. I highly recommend their services to anyone needing assistance. 7. Lata and Ben, can you speak to the attorney DLFM referred us to? 8.
