Foster/White Gallery, established in 1968, stands as a signature Pioneer Square address in Seattle's arts district. The gallery preserves a range of contemporary sculpture and paintings, as well as glass exhibits that lure international visitors. Foster/White Gallery features artists drawing from varied backgrounds and experiences, united by art-making. The artworks are made of a variety of materials, and all artists are equally and uniquely skilled. The gallery strives to maintain an aesthetic high ground in a constantly evolving art world, and its dedication to these principles forms a solid community foundation. Invitation Foster/White Gallery is a First Thursday Art Walk gallery. The Pioneer Square tradition has always been a highlight in Foster/White Gallery’s history, and we are active participants in the Seattle Art Dealers Association (SADA). Most of the art lovers were particularly happy with the layout of the gallery which was large and spacious. Giant prints and sculptures were available which gave each piece the room it deserves to breathe. Many customers were also pleased by the shows since they were unique and diverse.
