Lynda Rowden, a registered psychologist and clinical psychologist at the College of Psychologists of Ontario is Dr. Lynda. Her graduate training was completed at the University of Waterloo. She also did her doctoral dissertation on dual diagnosis, which used social competence variables to predict outcomes for individuals with developmental disabilities. Alberta Children's Hospital was where she completed her clinical doctoral internship. Since more than thirty years, Dr. Rowden is a Peel Region resident. Dr. Rowden spent many years at Peel Memorial Hospital, working in various areas, such as Pediatrics, Child and Adolescent Clinics, Adolescent Inpatient Units, Adult Psychiatry (Inpatient and outpatient follow-up), and then finally, she was the Clinical Coordinator for the Specialized Preschool Service. Her name is on the Canadian Registry of Health Service Providers for Psychology. Through her work in various settings (hospitals and communities), she has been able to deepen her experience. She has also worked for several years in Industrial Psychology.
