In his Salt Lake City studio, he is an excellent realistic portraitist, figure painter, who creates exquisite landscapes and still lifes. He also has a home studio in Spring City in Utah and other studios in California and Europe. Lake studied French in 1968 at the Sorbonne. After riots shut down the school, Lake continued his studies on the left bank with Claude Schurr in the Acedemie Julian. The University of Colorado at Boulder awarded him a degree in English Cum Laude. In 1972, he began studying with Gustave singier at Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts. He studied printmaking in Paris with S.W. Hayter, at the Atelier 17, was a student of Alvin Gittin's. Lake, a graduate of University of Utah (MFA 1977) and one of Alvin Gittin’s hardest working, most talented, students of that period, was also a highly successful visiting faculty member of Department of Art Studio at the University of Utah. Randall Lake, a painter of the 21st century who is inspired by 19th-century realism. The artist says: "I paint from life. I don't like working with photographs, because they are so static, and the image doesn't change. You end up just copying it, rather than understanding the subject." Painting on location creates a chemistry of urgency and a desire to be right. It also allows you to try to capture the moment and to determine what's important. Lake's works are held by local and national collection.

Richard Young is the owner and operator of this Utah Sculpture Studio. It specializes in bronze sculptures and monuments. Young Fine Art Studio, Inc., with its 45-year history and team that can handle any project, has produced stunning artworks for city centers, parks, monuments, private collections, and corporate buildings. Lena Toritch is one of today's most talented sculptors. She consistently produces bronze sculptures of exceptional quality that are praised and appreciated. She infuses spirit and life into each statue. As a child, her love of art and artistic training began in St. Petersburg Russia with the help of her sculptor father. His challenge to his daughter was to learn from the masters, to strive for improvement and to look at the world through an artist's eyes. Toritch studied at Russia's prestigious St. Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts as a graduate. She studied human and animal anatomy, history of art, architecture, compositions, drawing and sculpture. She came to America in 1992 because she wanted artistic freedom and opportunities. Toritch received citizenship as an "Artist with Exceptional Abilities". She teamed up soon afterward with Richard Young, the owner of Young Fine Art Studio located in Salt Lake City. Young, who was also a talented sculptor, had designed and built many monumental sculptures for himself and other artists. Together, Young and Toritch combined their business experience with Toritch's artistic ability to form an unbeatable duo that delivers consistently world-class sculpture.

Amber DeBirk, Randy Laub and Studio 4 are the artists who share studio 4, Baldwin Radio Factory Artist Studios. The studio features their work, as well as that of guests artists. Salt Lake City is where I live and was born. Salt Lake City is not where I have lived my entire life. I've lived in Reno Nevada, northern Utah and Germany. After graduating from Utah State University, I have a background in business and foreign languages. In the past, I've taught myself and taken lessons from others how to take photos. Since I have been a travel agent, I've attended many travel events in Italy and Germany. Over the years, I have visited Italy, Germany, and other European countries several times. This has heightened my interest in photography. The narrow streets in European towns and cities are my favorite. My goal is to catch a moment in time, and to show the beauty of the little things most people pass by without noticing. Take time to explore the world around you, stop and enjoy what you see.
