About Workshop SLC Founded in 2018, Workshop SLC was inspired by a group of us wanting to enhance our artistic skills through intensive workshops abroad. We started Workshop SLC because we knew those workshops weren't available in Salt Lake City. WorkshopSLC An association of instructors and artists, we rent our classroom and offer oil painting, life drawing, and other workshops. The building has six studios for private work, a large teaching area, bathroom, dining room and parking lot. Why Art? Art is an excellent means of self-expression, whether you're a professional artist, aspiring artist, or a beginner. It's therapeutic and enjoyable. Art can change one's perspective, express feelings, inspire, entertain, and impress. Art is a conversation. Goal Bring great artists to Salt Lake City. Workshop SLC ranges from beginner primers to technical clinics. It's a hive of creatives. Workshop SLC is an artist cooperative, a safe and enjoyable classroom that is open to all skill levels, and a working relationship where instructors can teach.
