Alberta Craft Gallery & Shop - Edmonton has operated two Alberta Craft Gallery & Shops in Edmonton and Calgary since 1980. The free exhibitions, social retail, and online programming are available at both locations. These programs include artist talks, professional development opportunities, and Alberta Craft artist workshops. Alberta Craft Council, a Provincial Arts Service Organization, develops and promotes fine crafts in Alberta. The Alberta Craft Council supports contemporary and heritage craft as important art forms that contribute to Alberta’s culture. The organization is mainly focused on developing a sector for craftspeople who are creative, skilled, and viable. We put the Albirda Logo on various items, including T-shirts, Stickers, Hats, etc., for our exhibition. Celebrate our vibrant bird population in the province by wearing your Albirda merchandise today! Alberta Craft Council’s share of proceeds will be used to create more opportunities for paid work and programs in Alberta.
