Ralph Reichenbach, a local craftsman and furniture designer, had dreamed of opening the Bay 1 Gallery for many years. He opened it to showcase his woodworking and support local artisans. Ralph Reichenbach is a local craftsman and furniture designer. This dream would not have been possible without those who came before. The woodworking operation began in the double garage of Eberhard Reichenbach and Alma Reichenbach. It has grown to 24,000 square feet. His parents, who emigrated from East Germany in the 1950s, worked tirelessly to establish Eberhard's Manufacturing. Today, Bay 1 is available as a gallery. Moving forward, we would like to acknowledge the various indigenous groups that have resided on this land for centuries. Treaty 6 has been a meeting point, travel route, and home to many indigenous people. The Cree, Blackfoot, Nakota Sioux, Iroquois, Dene, Anishinaabe, Métis, Inuit, and other peoples have left an impact on this land. We respect the unique histories, cultures, languages, and traditions of these peoples, which have always enriched and influenced our societies. The gallery houses a diverse group of Canadian artists from different generations and cultures who use multiple mediums to express their art. A group of fine artists, passionate about the gallery, looks forward to creating meaningful connections with local artists and collectors. This 1000-square-foot warehouse provides a warm and elegant space for a group art exhibition, a personalized or focused exhibit or showcasing a collection. The Bay 1 Gallery is open as per the schedule. Please call or email us to schedule a private or group visit if you cannot visit during these hours. We also offer curbside pickup and virtual appointments. We hope to see you soon.

The gallery is a beautiful and inspiring place to visit. The many local artists represented there create exceptional pieces that visitors can enjoy. Attendees at exhibitions are often wowed by the talented artists, who frequently describe their work, adding an extra layer of depth to their art. A unique thing about the gallery is its location in an unexpected neighborhood, which surprises visitors. The presence of both artwork and furniture in the space sets it apart from anything else in the area. Visitors would tell you that the gallery is "beautiful," "amazing," and full of "hidden gems." This is a must-visit for everyone who loves art.
