Phil Alain has marked his commencement on his career as an artist in 1997 when he rented a community hall in St. Albert for 150 supporters. He decorated the walls with his artwork and promoted the event. He asked his sister to sing a few songs and a musician friend to play the piano. Alain was pleased with the results. He managed to show and promote more than 20 new artworks, and his gallery was a success. Later, the show of Night of Artists began. With 3000+ guests in attendance, Night of Artists appears in 250+ events across Canada annually. Night of Artists offers artists an opportunity to show their work to others at a creative and fun event. This show is designed on the essence of teamwork and collaboration. The event's 27 years of success are due to a community coming together to support visual arts and music. Night of Artists is now a gallery and entertainment center operating all year in the Bonnie Doon Centre since 2020. Monthly gallery events, workshops, and a daily display and sale of artwork are available.
