Modus Coffee is a Canadian company that values simplicity. We strive to keep our coffees simple and straightforward to acknowledge the hard work of everyone involved in the chain, particularly the quality-focused coffee producers. Modus Coffee opened its doors in 2015 when we realized that it was challenging to find coffees that were sweet and well-balanced. As coffee lovers, my co-founders and I wanted to drink coffee that was as true to its origins and terroirs as possible. It's difficult to define a taste. However, you can call Modus Coffees uncompromised. The team is small, but the company - a coalition of BIPOC-owned and self-funded businesses - was founded in early 2015 out of our passion for coffees that are true to their origin and terroir. We have never looked back. We roast coffee, so we try to keep it simple and straightforward. This is our way of acknowledging and appreciating all the people in the chain. HUMBLE beginnings.
