Sunny Day Care

Sunny Day Care, founded in 1997 and licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Education, has a Service Agreement with the Region of Waterloo to deliver subsidized childcare. Sunny Day Care actively participates in all quality initiatives programs to improve program quality, such as Early Years Engage. The local Public Health Unit and Fire Department inspect our sites seasonally to ensure children’s safety. Our teachers work closely with early learning specialists and child development consultants to address individual children’s learning potential. Sunny Day Care is a corporation-owned, family-friendly childcare provider. We have offered local families a safe, nurturing, and educational experience for over two decades. Our staff is caring, resourceful, and loving. They understand the early years of your child and will join you to maximize their potential. All teachers have College of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario registration and First Aid certification, as well as taking continuous learning classes. Our qualified staff are under the supervision of How Does Learning Happen (HDLH) (ODHLM, 2019). The programs are planned and implemented under the Ontario's Early Years Pedagogy and the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014. (CCEYA).

Sunny Day Care reviews are overwhelmingly supportive of their children-oriented, encouraging, and nurturing approach. Many parents feel that their children were well prepared and have lifelong memories from the day care. The staff received numerous positive feedback for being caring, friendly, and child-oriented.
