Waterloo Region Community Legal Services is here to solve any of your legal problems. We can tackle issues like temporary residence, citizenship or visas. At WRCLS, we believe in community development, law reform, and legal education. Our goal is to ensure that every person living in poverty overcomes any barrier preventing them from achieving justice. Low-income families and individuals can get a range of legal services, from advice to full representation in various legal fields. Waterloo Region Community Legal Services also provides employment law services as part of Mississauga Community Legal Services Mobile Legal and Social Justice Initiative. Non-unionized workers who need to know what their rights are at work can get a summary of our advice. It comprises matters like unpaid wages, reprisals, breaches of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and human rights violation claims under Ontario's Human Rights Code. For financially needy clients, we also provide additional services, such as assessing the chances of a successful case, negotiating with an employer, and litigating the case if necessary.
