Wimgym gymnastics

The two facilities closed in 1996 as WIMGYM moved all its operations to one location. The club’s entire operations were consolidated in a Beaconsfield Mall leased space, where it served its community from 1996 to 2008. The WIMGYM at Beaconsfield continued to offer recreational activities as well as the nationally and provincially recognized team program (WIMGYM, 2021). For the state of the art services, the company moved to a new location in Kirkland. Our club is a rising star at all levels of competition, including national, international, and provincial (WIMGYM, 2021). The Wimgym Gymnastics Club Experience: The Wimgym Gymnastics Club is a non-profit organization where you can find competitive and recreational gymnastics. If you want to take private and semi-private classes, then we have a spot for you. Wimgym is the place where these gymnasts can explore their talent due to the provided resources. We also offer field trips and birthday parties for children. The WIMGYM Background WIMGYM was established in 1970 by Serge and his wife Renata. The original training facility for the club was at Cite des Jeunes high school in Vaudreuil. The club consisted of approximately twelve (12) competitive athletes, with a small group of recreational/pre-competitive participants at that time. In 1980, the club moved to its first permanent facility at Beaconsfield. The company also added a second recreation center at Valois, Pointe-Claire. The club was active in competitive gymnastics, with 30-50 team members. It also had a growing recreational program in both of its facilities.
