Christian Care Health Center acknowledges that physical wellness is just as important as mental and spiritual wellness. Residents have access to the SeniorFITnessTM program as part of an active lifestyle. SeniorFITnessTM was designed specifically for seniors to provide physical activity and wellness. Weightlifting and flexibility exercises can be done at home or in a group. A talented, compassionate, and educated leader manages the program. SeniorFITnessTM is provided at no extra charge to our residents by a professional (Symbria). Group workouts help residents improve their balance, flexibility, and strength. These fundamental elements are essential for a positive lifestyle. SeniorFITnessTM makes exercise more enjoyable and social with music, laughter, and friendly people. Sessions are kept small to ensure individualized instruction for maximum benefits. The group activities increase socialization while decreasing feelings of loneliness.
