Mary Theresa Dietz artist studio

I am an artist based in Tucson. I work in various mediums, including painting using oil sticks, encaustic, and sculpture, as well as printmaking and drawing. I have been selling and making my art for over fifty years. I remember the age of 4 when I started to consider myself an artist. I was a little kid then. I paint animals, landscapes, portraits, and figures. Since last year, I have been working without a subject. Some of my influences include folk art, Pre-Columbian and ancient Egyptian art, German Expressionism, Fauves, animals, and my subconscious. My work is in many public and private collections around the world, including the Tucson Public Library and the Ronald MacDonald House in Tucson.
