ABOUT Services Excellence Summary

Travis and Russ, the creators of Alpenglow, are two adventurous locals. The land may not be ours, but our sense of adventure is undeniable. We are small-town boys who left the city to seek out something more profound. We had no idea that we would end up back where it all began, in the Sierra Nevada. We each independently came to the conclusion that someone needed to open an outdoor consignment store quickly. Our objective is to encourage people to get outside to appreciate nature in whatever ways they can. We recycle and reuse highly useful equipment while also educating and empowering members of the outdoor community. We can’t do what we love without you. We want to inform everyone who questions anything about the outdoors. We want to build a community that will encourage people to participate in outdoor activities and trail clean-ups. We want to give the joy of being outside to everyone, but especially the younger ones. Come and check it out (Alpenglow).

Shoppers also enjoy going to the place due to the wide selection of new and used gear. Apart from the excellent quality of the products, Travis makes sure that he provides the right tips for their usage. The climber left this positive feedback complete with a thank you message to the store after locating the climbing shoes that he was seeking. Generally, store visitors always find staff members who are willing to listen and offer good recommendations, a reason they will always go the store back again. Besides the commendable sales services, most of the reviews praise the store owner for his charity. A differently able individual commented how he got gloves to fit in a wheelchair. His friend and him left the store very happy. This is a One-of-a-kind store that I definitely recommend to outfitters.
