Travis and Russ, the creators of Alpenglow, are two adventurous locals. The land may not be ours, but our sense of adventure is undeniable. We are small-town boys who left the city to seek out something more profound. We had no idea that we would end up back where it all began, in the Sierra Nevada. We each independently came to the conclusion that someone needed to open an outdoor consignment store quickly. Our objective is to encourage people to get outside to appreciate nature in whatever ways they can. We recycle and reuse highly useful equipment while also educating and empowering members of the outdoor community. We can’t do what we love without you. We want to inform everyone who questions anything about the outdoors. We want to build a community that will encourage people to participate in outdoor activities and trail clean-ups.
