Centennial Academy of Fine Arts

Ms. Penner has been teaching art at Centennial Academy since 2001, and she is Centennial's fine arts program coordinator. She has also been teaching art. Ms. Penner has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History/Education from the University of Northern Colorado and an MBA in Gallery and Museum Management from Western Colorado University. A printmaking and fibers artist, Penner’s work has been shown in the Denver Art Museums. She is also a professional artist. Her involvement in educating art educators has made her an active member of the Colorado Art Education Association. Additionally, she serves as an Executive Board Member at the Littleton Education Association. She is a member of the LEA negotiation team. Penner is a Nordic skiing and hiking enthusiast and loves exercising, cooking, gardening, and other activities when she is not teaching or creating art.

Centennial Elementary School received several positive reviews among parents and students. Many praised the teachers’ quality, the strong arts program, and the overall school environment.
