Cressman Center for Visual Arts aims to involve, educate, and empower the community through visual arts. The Center brings together artists and academics, combining theory and practice. The Cressman Center is a brand-new space that complements the studio and exhibition components of the Department. The facility has been created for education, exhibitions, and the integration of visual arts in downtown. The Cressman Center is situated at the heart of downtown's esteemed arts district, next to the corner of First Street and Main Street, and is where the department's glass program is located. The public can see the studio in action every day. The 12,000-square-foot center has a hot and cold works studio, sculpture shops, studios, and seminar spaces. Three galleries make up the Cressman Center for ongoing exhibitions: the John B. and Bonnie Seidman-Roth Gallery, the Leonard and Adele Leight Gallery, and the Alice S. and Irvin F. Etscorn Gallery. The exhibitions at the Cressman Center galleries can be found here.
