For over a century, Brady Funeral Home has been providing funeral services to families in Jamaica Plain, Boston. The firm was founded by Patrick J. Brady in 1875 on Washington St., and a funeral home was built at Tower St. in 1945. This funeral home still stands and does business. When Mr. Brady passed away in 1957, his employee, Mr. Daniel W. Kelley, took over the management and ownership of the firm. Mr. Kelley, his family, and he managed the funeral home until 1975, when he retired. The Funeral Home has been owned by Ronald West since 1975. JD Fallon Funeral Home was established in 1880. Families received funeral services out of a Jamaica Plain storefront on Centre St. later on, just like the Brady Funeral Home. The Fallon family kept the business going until 1976, when Ronald West bought it. He moved it to Greenough Ave. in Jamaica Plain and continued to manage it there until 1976. He merged the two historic funeral homes to form the Brady & Fallon funeral home. Families deserve special care during times of mourning. We are aware. We also understand that families need respect and dignity. We prioritize your family. Because we are one, we value this. During times of grief, we are here for you.
