Sharron was born in Baltimore City, Maryland. She was introduced to art when she attended an art drawing class at Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore when she turned 11. She studied there for two years. At 13, she had won a mayoral citation for a piece of artwork that was chosen to be displayed on the wall at city hall; it was a picture of a puppy. She lived in Baltimore and went to public schools her entire life. She took an art test and was accepted into the Baltimore School for the Arts. She later used that experience from the School for the Arts to audition and get into the Maryland Institute College of Art. In 90 days, she auditioned, got accepted, and started classes. That was when she was introduced to many of the other genres of arts like painting, sculpture, and ceramics. She was a part of the group that received a mayoral citation at Baltimore School of the Arts for their participation in creating a mural downtown in Baltimore. After preparing for her MICA program at MICA's continued education program, she realized she didn't want to be a starving artist. She left MICA, enrolled at Coppin State College, and completed her degree at the University of Baltimore. There, she earned a Bachelor of Science with a Minor in Human Resources Management and did most of her graduate coursework in Public Administration with a concentration in Public Policy. She was only nine credits away from completing her Master's Degree.
