Make individuals more confident, connected, kinder, and more collaborative by making art. By practicing empathy and understanding, community members at the Social Studio art academy create community through art. With the resources and time they need to develop as artists, we serve give our members. Art excellence enhances empathy. Art excellence promotes empathy. Empathy increases self- and other-awareness. Every engagement has many access points. Every artist can solve creative problems and take risks. Existence of dialogue with each other and ourselves is important. Reflective practices allow us to learn from our teacher, materials, fellow students, and ourselves. We develop a discipline to see without judging.
