Studio Q

At Studio Q, we embrace experimentation. We explore color, texture, geometry, found items, and new materials to drive our art practice. We follow design opportunities to invent. The unknown is where we push our limits and find ourselves under the spotlight, but it's also the most dangerous. Imperfection and experimentation lead to excitement, innovation and the biggest challenges. We influence our audience by exploring the creative realm to provoke thought and to reveal our human nature. However, we would not be here without the artists before us. Their shadow still shapes our work. We need to learn the language of art history and creative challenges and explore. Our work is a reflection of how we share, translate, and remix our experience in new ideas and creation. Our work influences each other. The silkscreen print, painting, and the sculpture can't avoid in the flow. I am still inspired by the power of horizon lines and architectural scale and dimension. The texture on surfaces or the angles at a moment based on a rare phenomena in geometry. I was taught not to be afraid of the imagination. I still find gratitude in this. The generosity that inspired me is still alive. This generosity includes the mentorship of students, contact with my mentors, and reaching out to all the audience that we have met as they grow their career.
