Studio Molecke

Heather Molecke, the founder of Studio Molecke, is a sculpture, installation, and performance artist. She also teaches sculpture courses at Cleveland State University and lectures nationally. Her MFA in sculpture is from Louisiana State University. Molecke is based in Cleveland, Ohio, where she recently opened Studio Molecke. Her ontological philosophy analyzes reality and object nature to help balance the relationship between the two by collecting, archiving, and relocating areas she rescues from discarded materials. A found object becomes useful in its new context and receives a voice.
