Our Mission: To offer affordable quality education for residents of Shelby and Fayette counties and the Mid-South Region with associate degrees and future opportunities. Southwest College is a public college that offers open access, is culturally diverse, and provides credit and non-credit education and traditional, on-campus classes. Southwest College has a culture of success that must be present for students to achieve their goals and have a positive effect. To achieve this, supportive learning and teaching environments that promote education, work readiness, career advancement, and personal enrichment must be provided.
