1708 Gallery was created in 1978 by artists. Our mission is to inspire artists to make new, thought-provoking art for their communities. Artists are catalysts, connectors, and congregators of the curious. We connect Richmond-based and national artists to provide diverse perspectives and ideas across the spectrum of contemporary art.
