Artspace is situated at 2833 A Hathaway Rd. in Richmond, VA 23225, a location within the Stratford Hills Shopping Center with nearly five restaurants and a wine shop. It is at the intersection of Forest Hill Avenue and Hathaway Road, lying between the Powhite Parkway and Chippenham Parkway. New bike lanes have been added as the road was improved. It is also close to the GRTC bus stations along Forest Hill Avenue in front of Goodwill, which means better accessibility. Parking is available to the backside of the museum or in front of the wine store that is within the gallery environs.
Artspace is free and open to all. The gallery remains closed on Mondays, but every other day is open. The gallery closes to install new exhibits each month in the weeks leading up to the Fourth Fridays art openings. Artist talks happen on Saturdays at 2:00 pm following opening receptions.
