The Well Art Gallery

The Well Art Gallery is a Richmond, VA-based Blackwell gallery that features diverse art forms, including painting, architecture, culinary, and decorative. We are two former college friends who began our corporate careers in the city of Richmond, Virginia. James worked as an Army soldier while Ajay lived in D.C. and was a Stock Broker. We were seeking something more inclusive, creative, beautiful, and welcoming, especially in our homes. The spaces we desired had to be in the same neighborhoods where we grew up. We wanted art to be a part of these spaces in a comfortable way. We sought the services of Rosxetta, from Crenius, and Sarah of Sarah Consults, in curation and management, as it was a much-needed space to reflect change in the Southside and the need to embrace and hold on to that of Blackwell.
