Dance St. Louis presents world-class ballets that would not otherwise be shown in the St. Louis area. It makes these dances accessible to an audience of all backgrounds, supports local dancers, and dance companies, and provides unique dance education outreach. Dance St. Louis brings audiences a wide range of dances, including classical ballet, modern ballet, ethnic dance, tap dance, jazz dance, hip-hop dance, and artists from all over the world. In the past, many major dance companies were presented in the Fox Theatre and Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center, as well as through collaborations with Washington University’s Edison Theatre OVATIONS. series. Dance St. Louis is proud to have brought together stars like the Kirov Ballet and the American Ballet Theatre. Other dance companies include the Joffrey Ballet.
