ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

At the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Houston, you’ll be able to take advantage of the many opportunities we have. It’s my hope that what you find on mfah.org will lead you to magical discoveries. I urge you to take advantage of all of our outstanding installations and programming. In Museum Cullinan Hall, Pipilotti Risto's art metamorphoses the space into an exceptional cosmic abode. Two immersive works from the MFAH Collection are showcased in Pipilotti Risto: Pixel Forest and Worry Will Vanish: Pixel Forest (which has thousands of LED lights) and Worry Will Vanish (a video projection that transports viewers on an ethereal adventure). All of it: Zen Paintings From the Gitter-Yelen Collection emphasizes the formidable collection from collectors Kurt Gitter and Alice Yelen. It’s been a privilege to acquire dozens of these masterpieces and present an exhibition that emphasizes Zen painting.

SUMMARY   Reviews Summary

The Glassell Junior School of Art in Houston has garnered positive reviews, including praise on the museum campus and its learning opportunities, notably being free. Parents give it a five-star commendation because it has workshops for children of all ages, from preschoolers to teenagers. Most people say that the architecture of the building is striking and that the art school is a great place for children's creativity. The schoolchildren's art is also on display, allowing parents to watch their children grow. Many of the reviewers stated that they come back due to the enjoyable family activities, ranging from storytelling workshops to singing. One reviewer showed interest in the quality of the art classes and multiple mentions of the experienced tutors and the top-notch facilities. However, one drawback of the school building mentioned by one reviewer was that it lacks street parking noticeably. One parent also suggested adding more free activities to the list, making the site more dependable for low-budget families. Otherwise, the reviewers recommend the Gulf Stream School and recommend other parents to take their children there.
